      Short version: BookMillionaire does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not require account registration, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties.
    

1. Introduction

Welcome to BookMillionaire ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to operate the App:

Device ID: A randomly generated anonymous identifier is created and stored locally on your device. This ID is used solely to track your quiz progress, streaks, and leaderboard scores. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
Gameplay data: Quiz answers, scores, streaks, and daily challenge results are stored on our servers and associated only with your anonymous device ID.
Player name (optional): If you submit a score to the leaderboard, you choose a display name. This name is not linked to any account or personal identity.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information.

3. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data to show relevant ads, including:

Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
General device information (model, OS version)
IP address (used for approximate geographic location)
Ad interaction data

This data is collected by Google, not by us. Google's use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).

4. How We Use Information

The data we collect is used exclusively to:

Save your quiz progress and daily challenge streak
Display leaderboard rankings
Improve the App's content and stability

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to any third party. The only third-party service that may receive data through the App is Google AdMob, as described in Section 3.

6. Data Retention

Gameplay data associated with your anonymous device ID is retained as long as the App is active. If you uninstall the App and reinstall it, a new device ID is generated and previous data cannot be recovered.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data stored on our servers. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
